Mainly in two ways, but because the sensor and receiver are in different housings it can work in other ways.
Will I have to replace the battery frequently?
Forget about carrying tons of batteries in your backpack, you only need one 18650 lithium battery for each module.
Transmitter autonomy of up to 45h.
Receiver autonomy of up to 130h.
How does the barrier communicate with the camera?
Just like the Sportograf barrier, it's wireless, in this case using a Godox trigger, which can easily be replaced by any other.

Each device is smaller (81 x 56 x 23 mm) than a pack of cigarettes and together the two units weigh only 90g (without battery).
